Kellogg’s® All-Bran® Bran Buds® is high in fiber, low in sodium, a good source of potassium, and contains psyllium fiber, which studies show can play an increasingly important role in maintaining heart health. Psyllium is a grain like wheat or oats, but with an important difference—the husk of the psyllium plant has 14 times as much soluble fiber as oat bran. In studies psyllium fiber has been shown to lower cholesterol levels by as much as 9%. One serving of All-Bran Buds contains 38% of the daily amount of psyllium to reduce cholesterol.

Kellogg’s “All-Bran” Original is ready-to-eat cereal that is high in fiber, low in sodium and a good source of potassium. Clinical studies have shown that a diet low in sodium and high in potassium can have a positive effect on blood pressure levels. One serving of Kellogg’s All-Bran Original provides nearly 50% of the Daily Value of fiber, is fortified with 100% daily allowance of folic acid, B6 and B12, low in total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol, making it a heart-healthy beginning to the day.
