Children with Down syndrome tend to be short. There is no known effective medical intervention to address height for these children. Since 1986, Dr. F. Jack Warner has specialized in seeing people with Down syndrome. Warner uses an unconventional protocol which includes interventions such as nutrition (HAP Caps, flaxseed oil, N, Ndimethylglycine), physical therapy, ophthalmology, and conventional medicine. Warner claims his interventions can help make children with Down syndrome more like nonDown’s children. The purpose of this investigation was to determine if the Warner protocol could improve growth for children with Down syndrome.
